About the Job: Auto sales are increasing - and now is the perfect time to consider a career as an Entry Level Automotive Internet Consultant (BDC Representative) with Hudson Auto Group. We are looking to expand our Business Development Center (BDC) with the addition of a few new automotive Internet consultants. Job Purpose: To generate appointments for automotive prospects contacting the dealership through phone, Internet lead submission and chat features and to nurture existing internet leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming phone calls generated from dealer websites and other sources of advertising
- Answer all incoming Internet leads with email and phone calls
- Respond to all chat conversations from prospects
- Follow up with all prospects until contact is made
- Set and confirm all internet appointments for sales prospects and customers
- Communicate with all no-show internet appointments and reschedule
- Communicate with all internet non-appointments and non-sold prospects (following the internet sales process)
- Track all activity in the CRM (Customer Relations Management) Tool
- Keep all prospect and customer records up to date and accurate
- Communicate all appointment activity with appropriate managers and sales people
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions
Personality: Highly motivated, self-starter, great communicator (written and verbal), results oriented, positive outlook, clear focus, forward planner, mature, reliable, a team player, and ability to quickly build rapport with prospects.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma required, college degree preferred, 1-2 years of experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills including phone, email, and chat, ability to successfully handle 125-150 prospects each month, ideal background includes working in a call center environment, experience with appointment setting, and experience maintaining a book of business
- Basic computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, understanding of customer databases, CRM systems/software, the Internet, chat, and email
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Excellent written and oral communications skills

- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, and credit report.
